Welcome to my very own Taste of Chicago-inspired birthday celebration!

This isn't just a birthday party, it's a festival of food, music, laughter, memories, and 50 years of God's grace and favor.

For my 50th birthday, I'm bringing the spirit of Chicago's iconic food festival right into my backyard. Get ready to stroll, taste, dance, play, and celebrate as we turn an ordinary backyard into a one-of-a-kind Chicago-style festival experience.

Come hungry.  Come ready to have fun. Come ready to celebrate 50 years of being unapologetically me!

HOW THE FESTIVAL WORKS

Your Tickets Are Your Currency

When you arrive, you'll receive your very own Festival Ticket Sheet. (No Charge)

There is no cash exchanged for food during the festival. Your tickets are the only way to purchase food from our featured stations.

Each food station will offer delicious menu items with a designated ticket value.

Choose what you want. Spend your tickets. Taste your way through the festival!

Once your tickets are gone, they're gone.....unless you're willing to earn some more! 

Important:

Festival tickets are for FOOD ONLY. Water & Pops are provided, alcohol is BYOB.

Featured Festival Stations

Take Me to New Orleans Station
A little NOLA flavor for the festival crowd.

Hoagie Station
Chicago-style sandwich vibes with delicious options to satisfy your appetite.

Taco Station
Bring on the tacos and all the flavor!

BBQ Station
Smoky, savory, backyard BBQ goodness.

Jerk Chicken Pizza Station
A little unexpected. A whole lot of flavor.

And there may be a few surprises along the way!

Each station will have its own menu and ticket pricing so you can decide exactly how you want to spend your festival tickets.

RAN OUT OF TICKETS?

Don't worry, there's a way to get more!

But there's a catch.

You'll have to earn them!

Throughout the celebration, there will be fun games, challenges, and activities where you can win additional festival tickets.

Think you can handle the challenge?

The more you participate, the more opportunities you'll have to add tickets to your festival stash.

 

THE MUSIC

What's a Chicago party without GOOD MUSIC?

We're taking a trip down memory lane with a soundtrack filled with the music that shaped my generation.

Expect plenty of:

90s R&B • 90s Hip-Hop • 2000s R&B • 2000s Hip-Hop • Gospel • Praise & Worship• House

There will be music to sing along to, music to reminisce to, and definitely music that will have somebody saying...

"Ohhhhhh, I LOVE this song!"

So don't be surprised if the food stations turn into dance floors.

50 YEARS OF FAVOR

At the heart of all of this is something much bigger than a birthday.

God has been faithful.

Fifty years represents five decades of life, lessons, laughter, growth, family, friendships, challenges, victories, and countless blessings.

This celebration is my opportunity to pause, look around, and thank God for allowing me to reach this milestone.

I'm celebrating 50 years of God's grace and favor and I'm doing it unapologetically.
